Educational Qualification and Experience
i. Should have a Ph.D. degree in any branch of agriculture or allied sciences.
ii. Should be an eminent scientist/teacher having at least 10 years experience as Professor or equivalent including 3 years experience in Research/Teaching/ Extension management.
iii. Should have evidence of contributions to Teaching/Research/Extension as supported by publications/innovations and demonstrated leadership.
Emoluments :
The emoluments and other conditions of the service of the Vice Chancellor shall be as per the provisions of the Central Agricultural University Act, 1992. The pay of the post of Vice -Chancellor will be as per Ministry of Education/ UGC Regulation (O.M No. No.1-7/2015-U.ll(1) dated 02.11.2017, revised time to time). The Present Pay of the post is Rs. 2,10,000/- fixed and
other allowances as per Government of India rules.
