The Office of District Legal Services Authority and Legal Aid Defense Counsel System, Bongaigaon under Bongaigaon Judiciary Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Driver and Office Peon on contractual basis in 2026.
Name of post : Driver (Contractual)
No. of posts : 1
Qualification : The minimum educational qualification is HSLC passed with valid professional driving license.
Salary : Rs. 15,000/- per month
Age : The candidates must not be less than 18 years and above 40 years as on date of advertisement. Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. Rules.
Selection Procedure : Skill Test followed by Viva voce

Qualification : The minimum educational qualification is Class VIII passed and candidates who have passed Higher Secondary (HS) or above shall not be eligible to apply.
Salary : Rs. 10,000/- per month
Age : The candidates must not be less than 18 years and above 40 years as on date of advertisement. Age relaxation is admissible as per Govt. Rules.
Selection Procedure : Viva voce
How to apply :
Candidates may send their applications in Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the
Assam Gazette along with the following documents-
a) Self attested copies of all documents (photocopies) in support of education qualification,
age proof certificate and Employment Registration certificate.
b) Two copies of recent passport size coloured photographs duly signed by the candidates
on the reverse side of the photographs.
c) The applicant for the post of Driver must have a valid professional Driving License to
drive LMV/Four-Wheeler vehicle for not less than last 3 years issued by competent authority. The driving license of the candidate must be valid for 3 years.
The intending candidates will have to submit their application in sealed envelope addressed to the ‘The Secretary, District Legal Servces Authority, Bongaigaon’.
Applicants will have to super scribe their filled up application Form as “Application for the post of Driver/Office Peon” on the top of the envelope with their Mobile/WhatsApp Number and Email ID (if available) and drop it in the “Drop Box” at the Office of the District Legal Services Authority, 1st Floor, District Judicial Court Building, Bongaigaon.
