The Office of District Legal Services Authority, Sonitpur, under Sonitpur Judiciary Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Driver (Contractual) in 2026.

Salary : Rs. 15,000/- per month
Qualification :
1. Candidate must Possess the minimum educational qualification of Class VIII and maximum educational qualification of Class X standard to apply for the said post.
2. Must hold valid driving license to drive LMV/ four wheeler vehicle for not less than last 2 years
Age :
Minimum : 18 years. Maximum : 40 years as on the date of advertisement. Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rule. The upper age limit is relaxed by:-
a. 5 (five) years for SC/ST candidates, i.e., 45 years
b. 3 (three) years for OBC/MOBC candidates, i.e., 43 years. (Copy of the certificate relating to reservation category issued by the competent authority must be submitted along with the application)
Selection Procedure : Driving Test followed by Viva-Voce.

of all testimonials regarding Educational qualification, Age, Caste, Experience certificate (if
any), copy of the Employment Exchange Registration card among with 3 (three) copies of
recent passport size photographs, duly signed by the candidate on the reverse side and

Applicants should drop the envelope containing the duly completed application form in the drop box labeled ‘DROP BOX OF APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF DRIVER (contractual basis)’ kept in the premises of the District Legal Services Authority, Sonitpur between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the working days from 18-05-2026 to 30-05 -2026.
