Applications are invited for recruitment of 49 vacant positions or career in IRCTC Assam in 2026.

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Hospitality Monitors in 2026 in Assam and other North Eastern states, West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand.

Qualification & Experience :

(i) Full time B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from a Central or State Institute of
Hotel Management (CIHM/SIHM/PIHM) affiliated to National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology/UGC/ AICTE/ Govt. of India

(ii) BBA/MBA (Culinary Arts) from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism.

(iii) B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science from Govt. recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/State Govt.

(iv) M.B.A. (Tourism and Hotel Management) from Govt. recognized Universities affiliated to
UGC/AICTE/Govt. of India/ State Govt.

Remuneration :

Rs. 30,000/- p.m. including statutory deductions. In addition, Daily Allowance Rs.350/-
per day for duty onboard in train (s). Lodging Charges at outstation will be Rs.240/-, if night
stay is involved. For working on National Holidays, Hospitality Monitors shall be paid NHA @
Rs. 384/- per NH if worked. Medical Insurance Reimbursable on submission of valid documents as per IRCTC extant guidelines

Upper Age Limit : 27 years for UR as on 27th April 2026. Age relaxation : OBC-3 Years, SC/ST-5 years, PwBD-10 years.

Selection Procedure :

Candidates may appear for walk-in-interviews from 18th May 2026 to 20th May 2026. Time of interview is from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Venue is in IRCTC Zonal Office, 3, Koilaghat Street, Ground Floor, Kolkata-700 001

How to apply :

The candidates must carry the following documents in original (in chronological order) at the time of walkin-in-terview.

1. 10th class Marksheet & Certificate.

2. 12th class Marksheet & Certificate.

3. Graduation year-wise All Marksheets & Certificate/degree (Provisional Certificate/degree issued from concerned University may also be considered). Candidates passed out from IHMs should carry all six semesters marksheets, consolidated marksheet issued from IGNOU & degree/certificate issued from IGNOU.

4. Post-Graduation or any other higher academic/ education (year-wise All Marksheets & Certificate).

5. All Experience Certificates in chronological order.

6. Caste certificate supporting SC/ST/OBC category. OBC certificate should be for non-creamy layer category and should not be issued more than 1 year old.

7. EWS/PwBD certificate, if belong to.

Candidates should carry one set of self-attested photocopy of all above documents along with all originals.
