Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) Nagaland is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of 160 vacant positions or jobs of teaching professionals in 2026 via the Common Educational Services Examinations (CESE) 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
For the Posts of Assistant Professors- Hr. Education Department
(i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC
(ii) Candidates who are, or have got a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SE?.
(iii) NET/ SLET/ SET shall not be required for such Masters Degree Programmes in disciplines for which NET/ SLET/ SET accredited test is not conducted.
For the Posts of Assistant Professors- (CTE ) Hr. Education Department
(i) Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC/ differently abled candidates.
(ii) Candidates applying for posts of Assistant Professor for CTE must appear separate Optional Papers (Refer pattern of examination)
For the posts of Lecturer- Technical Education Department.
(i) Civil Engineering : B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate or 1st Class
(ii) Electronics & Electrical Engineering: B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate or 1st Class.
For the posts of Lecturer/ WET /Research Associate(RA) /Training-Cum-
(i) Post Graduate with 50% Marks relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC category.
For the Posts of PGT- Education Department
(i) Post Graduate with 50% Marks relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC/differently abled candidates.
For Graduate Teachers – School Education Department.
(i) Graduate / Post graduate with 50% Marks relaxable by 5% in case of ST/SC/differently abled candidates.
