Essential Qualification
1. Master’s degree in public health (MPH) or a related discipline (MSW, Health Management, Hospital Administration, Community Health, Nursing, or Allied Health Sciences)
2. Or Bachelor’s degree with experience in field data collection and conducting interviews
Desirable :
1. Prior experience working in health facilities
2. Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets)
3. Working knowledge of data collection CAPI apps (KOBO, ODK etc)
4. Fluency in local language (Khasi or Garo) and basic English
Experience
Essential:
1. One year experience in field data collection
2. One year experience in conducting interviews with stakeholders
Desirable:
1. Experience working in health facilities or health systems research
2. Experience handling structured data collection tools and templates
Job Roles :
1. Travel to field sites to collect and record data appropriate to the project’s specific objectives.
2. Coordinate survey logistics, including scheduling, mapping out survey locations, and managing transportation arrangements.
3. Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information; follow up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected.
4. Provide regular progress updates to the Project Coordinator/Supervisor and participate in team meetings to discuss study outcomes, challenges, and potential modifications to the research approach.
5. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
