Applications are invited for recruitment of 39 vacant teaching positions or jobs under APPSC Arunachal Pradesh in 2026.
Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) in various subjects in 2026.

Eligibility Criteria :
1) The candidate should be a graduate with a minimum Second-Class Bachelor’s Degree in
Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized university and must have studied the
concerned subject in all years / semesters of the Bachelor’s Degree programme. The final
year/ final semester marksheet of Bachelor’s Degree must contain the name and marks of
the concerned subject.
2) Graduation in any other subject with Post Graduation in the concerned subject shall not
be considered eligible for the particular post.
3) Candidate should possess a B.Ed (General) degree issued by NCTE recognized institute.
Only General B.Ed is acceptable for teaching Classes IX-X
4) B.Ed (Special Education) is not recognized as an altemative professional qualification for
TGT(Secondary)
5) The minimum duration of B.Ed programme is two years, including mandatory internship
in schools. However, for candidates who were awarded the degree before 2015, the course duration of one year will also be eligible.
6) Candidates who have completed a Four-Year Integrated Degree Programme with B.Ed
(General) included are also eligible subject to fulfilment of subject specific requirements
as mentioned in B(1).
7) Students in their final year/ final semester of Bachelor’s Degree/B.Ed are not eligible to
apply for the examination.
8) Each candidate is permitted to apply altogether for only one TGT (Secondary) post.
