Tocklai Tea Research Institute Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates in 2026 for recruitment to the posts or career of Project Scientist-I (Entomology) under a collaborative research program between TEA RESEARCH ASSOCIATION and LEHER SUSTAINABLE AGRI PVT. LTD., Gurgaon, Haryana, in the Entomology Department.

Essential Qualification:
1. Doctoral degree in Life Science/ Agriculture with specialization in Entomology and Pest Management from a recognized university or equivalent.
2. Should have a valid Drone Pilot License Certificate issued by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India.
Desirable :
1. Advanced knowledge on the application of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (Agri-Drone), AI tools, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Robotics in plant protection, handling advanced statistical software and sophisticated laboratory instruments, writing high-quality independent research paper.
2. Research experience in Tea Entomology or related disciplines with at least one research paper in SCI indexed journal.
Monthly Fellowship : Rs. 56,000/- per month (consolidated)
