National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or jobs of Quality Assurance (QA) Manager /Project Scientist in 2026.

Essential Qualification :
Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science and Nutrition, Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Desirable :
1. Experience working in a NABL-accredited laboratory.
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience in food testing and Quality Assurance/ manufacturing
3. Familiarity with quality assurance/quality control systems, ISO:17025:2017, ISO:9001:2018
4. Experience in external food safety or quality audits.
Age Limit : Maximum 45 years (relaxation of 5 years for women/SC/ST/OBC/differently abled as per the govt. of India Rules).
Job Roles :
1. Support implementation of QA/QC systems for fortified rice as per FSSAI guidelines.
2. Provide hands- on training to rice millers, FRK manufacturers, premix suppliers, and
food testing labs on quality standards.
3. Conduct assessments of rice mills and suggest technical modifications to meet fortification quality standards.
4. Assist in development and deployment of digital QA/QO platforms ; recommend program improvements.
5. Develop technical SOPs/WI/format for certification of premix and FRK manufacturers.
6. Conduct technical sessions, workshops, and presentations on rice fortification best practices.
7. Maintain documentation and contribute to reporting,, and monitoring.
8.Strong communication skills in English and Hindi preferred
