Assam Advanced Healthcare Innovation Institute (AAHII) Guwahati is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Research Associate – Low-field MRI Metamaterial Development in 2026. AAHII, located within IIT Guwahati campus comprises of an R&D Block, Academic block and a Super-specialty hospital (400 beds).

Qualification:
Ph.D. in a relevant field or MTech with 3 years of experience. Undergraduate and postgraduate background in Electronics Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics/ Engineering physics or any equivalent area with knowledge of electromagnetic theory.
Experience:
Required:
1) Track record of simulation experience on CST/HFSS/COMSOL, experimental design, execution, and analysis.
2) Experience mentoring junior researchers and engaging in collaborative projects
Desired:
1) Knowledge of MRI physics
2) Experience in MRI Metamaterial development or relevant
Job Roles :
1) Lead the design, execution, and analysis of MRI metamaterial development
2) Develop and test prototype systems related to MRI metamaterial and integration with MRI coils
3) Mentor junior team members and interns
4) Coordinate with clinical collaborators from AIIMS and other institutions
5) Organize and participate in technical discussions and review meetings
6) Support documentation for grant reporting and publications
7) Assist in preparing manuscripts and conference presentations
