National Institute of Technology (NIT) Silchar Assam is inviting applications in 2026 from eligible candidates for recruitment to the posts or career of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India, sponsored project in the Department of Chemistry entitled “Engineered superhydrophobic biomass-derived organocatalysts for biodiesel production: Process optimization using response surface methodology, kinetic studies and cost-analysis.”
