Guwahati: Assam-based employee recognition platform Vantage Circle showcased the stateโs cultural heritage at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence Conference held in the United States by presenting traditional Assamese Gamusa and cultural souvenirs to global award winners.
The annual Excellence Conference is considered one of the leading global gatherings of senior HR leaders, learning professionals and technology innovators. At this yearโs event, Vantage Circle received multiple awards along with its client partners, including Tata Technologies, Tata Chemicals, Amdocs, IBS Software, Wipro, ACG, Visteon and Apollo Tyres Ltd.
As part of a cultural exchange initiative, the company presented the traditional Assamese Gamusa along with curated souvenirs to fellow award recipients. The gesture was aimed at introducing international participants to Assamโs cultural identity and traditions.
The Gamusa, a symbol of respect and hospitality in Assam, was shared as a token of appreciation and goodwill.
Anjan Pathak, co-founder and CTO of Vantage Circle, said the recognition was a proud moment for the company as it represented Assam on a global platform. He said the Gamusa reflects values such as respect, humility and warmth, and the initiative was intended to give global leaders a glimpse of Assamโs heritage.
