Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu has assured all possible help for successfully organizing the 74th session of Asom Sahitya Sabha at Bordumsa.

The 74th session of Asom Sahitya Sabha will be held from February 1 to 4 at Bodousa Samanyay Kshetra around Ritu pathar and Mohong Pathar under Buridihing Mauza of Margherita sub-division in Tinsukia district.

As the venue of the largest literary festival falls along the Assam-Arunachal border, a seven-member delegation of Asom Sahitya Sabha led by Paramananda Rajbanshi recently met Khandu in Itanagar and requested for his help.

“We are happy because the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister has promised to extend all possible help,” Rajbongshi said. Assam government has already directed its different departments to immediately develop facilities of drinking water, power supply and road communication for the sahitya sabha session.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on December 6 installed the Lai Khuta for the 74th session of Asom Sahitya Sabha.
