State Level Nodal Agency (SLNA) Guwahati Assam is inviting applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to the govt job of Accountant and Accounts Assistant in 2026.
Name of post : Accountant

Qualification : Graduate/ Postgraduate in Commerce from any Govt. recognized University with knowledge of computer application and Tally software.
Experience : Minimum 7 years of working experience in the relevant field with knowledge of accounting/ financial management procedures applicable for centrally sponsored schemes/
state government projects and having hands on experience of operating Tally accounting
software. Candidates possessing prior experience and working knowledge of SNA SPARSH
under Centrally Sponsored Schemes or other Central/State Government schemes, will be
given preference.
Salary : Rs. 45,000/- per month
Age Limit : Up to 45 years as on 01-01-2026

Qualification : Graduate in Commerce from a recognized University. Minimum 6 (six)
months Diploma/ Certificate in computer application with Tally software from recognized Institute.
Experience : Minimum 5 years experience in the relevant field with working knowledge in Tally software and sound knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax, GST and other
taxation matters. Candidates working in similar capacity in Govt./Semi Govt. office/
Department/Organization or PSUs will be given preference.
Salary : Rs. 32,000/- per month
Age Limit : Up to 45 years as on 01-01-2026
