A three-day Agartala children’s film festival gets underway from Tuesday at the capital city of Tripura.

Altogether, 10 children’s films of Hindi, Bengali and English languages would be screened at Nazrul Kalakshetra auditorium and Rupashi Hall as part of the film festival.

The festival will be inaugurated by Tripura Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath at Nazrul Kalakshetra auditorium in Agartala on Tuesday morning in presence of Rajesh Goyel, administrative officer of Children’s Film Society India, chairperson of Tripura Children Protection Rights Commission, Nilima Ghosh along with other dignitaries.

As part of the celebration, the organizers, Children’s Film Society India and Information and Cultural Affairs (ICA) department of Tripura Government would be organizing workshops on all the three days for children on mega script writing, acting, 2-D animation and on film direction from morning 11 am to 2 pm.
