Guwahati:ย A man hasย been arrestedย in Karimganj, Assamย withย a massive haul of suspected heroin worth Rs 10 crore.

A police source said that the man was arrested based on inputs.

Based on the inputs, the police launched an operation in the Dharmanagar area of Karimganj, Assam.

During the raid, the police apprehended one suspicious person on a truck bearing registration AS01JC6796.

On checking the vehicle, the police team found 110 soap boxes filled with suspected heroin.

The heroin was estimated to be worth over Rs 10 crore in the international grey market.

The person driving the vehicle was identified as Siyaab Uddin.

He was immediately arrested by the police.

It was found that the truck was coming from Mizoram but the destination was not disclosed.

The police said that they are investigating the matter to trace the source and destination of the suspected heroin.
