Guwahati: A man in Hailakandi, Assam died after being electrocuted while working at his house on Wednesday.
A man named Zahir Uddin died from electrocution while working alongside his brother and suddenly came in contact with a live electric wire.
His brother too was injured in the incident.
The injured brother has been transferred to Silchar Medical College for treatment.
In another incident, lightning struck two brothers working at their residence in the Algapur area.
An investigation has been initiated in both incidents.
It may be mentioned that frequent storms have been reported in parts of Assam and the region for the past few days.
