DIBRUGARH: Congress leader Pawan Khera on Tuesday appealed to the voters to vote consciously to save the democracy and constitution of India during an address in Dibrugarh, Assam.

Khera said, “I appeal to all the voters to vote consciously and vote to save the democracy and the constitution. People join the BJP as they use fear to threaten them. Those who don’t come into their traps are put behind bars using ED and CBI,” Khera stated.

“This election is very important for the country. People are in constant fear that if the BJP again comes into power, there might be no more elections. The democracy will be finished and the constitution will be changed as per their wish,” he said.

He claimed that the BJP government is misusing the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) against opposition leaders if they raise their voices against them.

Khera said, “If we form the government then those officers who help the BJP illegally would not be spared. We will take action against them.”
