GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) organized a motorcycle rally in protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) throughout the state on Thursday (March 07).
Hundreds of AASU members participated in the rally, demanding the repeal of the act.

The rally took place in Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Kokrajhar, and various other districts across Assam.
AASU chief adviser Samujjal Bhattacharjya and AASU general secretary Sankor Jyoti Baruah led the anti-CAA motorcycle rally, which saw the participation of hundreds of AASU leaders and activists.
The rally in Guwahati city of Assam commenced from Pan Bazaar area.

Addressing the media, AASU leaders reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to its democratic movement against the CAA, emphasizing that the protest would persist.
Ahead of the CAA protest, the Assam police heightened security measures to prevent any potential untoward incidents.
