Thapar, in a post on Instagram, narrated how 27-year-old Rajat Jain turned a personal loss into a mission of something big

“From a humble village(Parasoli) in UP to a global pioneer in cardiac care, 27 year old @jai_rajat journey is the epitome of determination and innovation,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.

“ He turned personal loss (a friends death at 21 due to a heart attack) into a mission, launching 5 groundbreaking products that tripled sales and raised funds at 10X valuation within a year of pitching @sunfox_tech at Season 1 of @sharktank.india,” she added

Thapar also said Dehradun has a special place in his heart as he did his engineering here and rather than setting base in one of the bigger start up metros, he chose to keep his roots in Dehradun with the goal of creating jobs and putting his city on the global map

“His recent product launch on World Heart Day, Sep 29, reflects his unwavering commitment to heart health. Emcure has partnered with them to create heart attack management centers pan India. Rajat, you & your team are an inspiration & I was honoured to be a part of your event in Dehradun !” she wrote

Jain also lauded Thapar by calling her a ‘Shark with a Heart’ and how sickness didn’t deter her from being present at their business event
