The newly floated Hamro Sikkim Party (HSP) of Bhaichung Bhutia is set for a launch in West Sikkim by end of this month with a target to attract a crowd of 15,000 to 20,000.

This was stated by its founding member Bhaichung Bhutia.
Stating that preparations for the party launch were progressing well, Bhaichung hit out at the ruling SDF government for ‘creating several hurdles’ for the venue and other administrative permissions required.
It may be recalled that Bhaichung and other founding members had announced floating of a new political party christened Hamro Sikkim Party at a press conference in New Delhi on April 26 last.
Though Bhaichung did not reveal any specific date for the launch, the former captain of the Indian national football team shared that Hamro Sikkim Party is ready for launch by end of this month and that the venue will West Sikkim.
Bhaichung also said that with the launch of his new political party there will be pack of surprises unfolding thereafter.
Bhaichung, it is learnt, is also planning to have a star-studded launch party with some of his Bollywood friends present at the launch programme.
