Krsihi Bikash Kendra (Panisagar) organized a two-day long work shop on interaction between the farmers and scientists at Joithang SB school in Panisagar, Tripura on Friday.

The program started at 11 in the morning. The workshop will be held at three other places of Damchara, Panisagar and other.

However, under the Agriculture technology management agency (ATMA) scheme they got an amount of Rs 75,000 for the current financial year. With the money they have decided to hold a workshop to develop agriculture and farming for increasing the productivity.

Agriculture technology management agency (ATMA) is a registered society at the district level, which works with different agriculture related institutions for sustainable agriculture development.

The main objective of this scheme is to coordinate the various research and extension activities at the district level. It is also responsible for decentralization of public agriculture technology system.

A total of 100 farmers participated in the program.

The workshop laid emphasis on developing the farming and cultivation system, to provide loan, to understand the usage of fertilizers and others activities related to the development of agriculture and production.

Delegates including Abhijit Debnath, Bibhas Kanti Dey, Samar Jamatia, Biswajit Deb and others.
