Bongaigaon district will take on Silchar in the first semi-final of the Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament for Nuruddin Ahmed Trophy at the Mangaldai Sports Association stadium from April 21 to April 23.

While in the other semi-final at Guwahati, Nagaon will face Guwahati.

The rain curtailed last match of the two day quarter final league between Guwahati and Lakhimpur ended in a draw without completion of a single inning at Mangaldai on Thursday following which both the teams shared one point each.

After the first day being washed out due to heavy down pour in the morning session, the second day saw a delay in the start of the match for more than two hours.

Batting first, Guwahati scored 232 for nine in 55.3 overs. Pritam Debnath top scored with 72 runs in just 29 balls with five sixes and eight fours while Ryan Parag scored a patient 67 (109 balls).

For the Lakhimpur, Rishikesh Bora (4/61) and Nayan Jyoti Baruah (3/54) were the most successful bowlers.
