Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb along with Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Barman will inaugurate a campaign at Ambassa, the headquarters of the Dhalai district, on Sunday to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet schemes.
The programme will be held at Town Hall at Ambassa where Food and Civil Supplies Minister Manoj Kanti Deb, Chief Secretary Sanjeev Ranjan and Principal Secretary M Nagaraju are slated to remain present, informed official sources.
The awareness launching programme is aimed at awareness generation of Prime Minister’s pet projects- Pradhan Manti Mudra Yojana, Stand Up India, Pradhan Mantri Janadhan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Beema Yojana among the people.
The State Level Bankers’ Committee (SLBC) chairman M Dohre, Regional Manager of State Bank of India (SBI) Dipak Chowdhury, chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank S M Goswami, Managing Director of Tripura State Cooperative Bank Swapan Kumar Saha will also grace the occasion.
The programme is scheduled to be presided over by MLA Parimal Debbarma.
