Body of a youth, was identified as Rinku Tamaria, was recovered from Naharjan Tiniali at Bokakhat in Assam’s Golaghat district, early Tuesday morning.
The body was witnessed by local residents alongside National Highway 37 in the region on Tuesday morning.

The youth was wearing a black shirt and blue denims. Locals have also noticed that there was headphone plugged into his ears.
According to preliminary investigation, police have suspected that the youth who was in all probability returning late last night from the on-going Hanuman Mela at Bokakhat was knocked down by a speeding vehicle on the national highway.
Meanwhile, efforts are on to ascertain the identity of the killed youth.
