After Samajwadi Party (SP) Chief Akhilesh Yadav’s half sister-in-law Aparna Yadav joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), he said the he would like to thank the BJP for giving people party ticket whom the SP did not consider.

He further added that he hoped she would carries the ideology of SP to the BJP”.

Akhilesh Yadav further added that he would thank the BJP for giving her a ticket.

He further added that with Aparna joining the BJP, the ideology of the SP was spreading and he was sure about it reaching the BJP so that can be more democracy.

He added that although, his father, Mulayam Singh Yadav had tried to convince her to not leave the party, she left only because she was denied a ticket for the election.

His father even tried to explain her that tickets were dependent on internal surveys.

Even though, Aparna joining the BJP was seen as a big blow to the SP, Akhilesh Yadav said that SP was confident that it will form a government in the UP.

Just a few days before the Uttar Pradesh elections, daughter-in-law of former UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav and Akhilesh Yadav’s sister-in-law Aparna Yadav joined the BJP.

She was married to Akhilesh Yadav’s brother Pratik Yadav and her decision to join the BJP is seen as a major blow to the Samajwadi Party. 

Pratik Yadav is the younger son of Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav. 

Aparna Yadav while joining the BJP said that she was always inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
