On Tuesday, the Delhi Police said that a PhD student was allegedly molested in the Jawaharlal Nehru University campus.
The police said that a complaint was made to the PCR about a female student of the JNU being molested.
The call was received at the Vasant Kunj North Police Station at around 12.45 am on Tuesday.

The police said that after receiving the complaint, a police team immediately rushed to the spot.
On reaching the spot it was found that at around 11.45 pm on Monday, a PhD student who went out for a walk near the east gate road of the JNU was allegedly molested.
As per reports, a man came on a bike from inside the campus and tried to molest the student.

However, after the girl made some noise, the man fled from the spot.
The police have filed a case of outraging the modesty of a woman.
