Mizoram, on Sunday, logged a total of 903 new COVID-19 cases.
This is the highest single-day spike in COVID numbers in Mizoram in the last two months.
The new COVID cases in Mizoram have been detected at a staggering 15.86% positivity rate.
However, fortunately no new COVID related deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours.
Mizoram’s current COVID death toll stands at 558.

Aizawl reported the highest number of COVID cases (200) in the last 24 hours, followed by Serchhip (182).
Khawzawl district reported 150 new cases, Lunglei district 76 and Mamit district 63.
The new cases have been detected after conducting tests of 5694 samples.
