Sikkim: 27 new COVID-19 cases detected at positivity rate of 11.5%

There has been a considerable spike in single-day COVID-19 positive cases in Sikkim. 

On Thursday, Sikkim logged 27 positive cases at a staggering positivity rate of 11.5 percent. 

The new cases were detected after conducting tests of 235 samples. 

With the 27 new COVID-19 cases, Sikkim’s active cases tally mounted to 86.

Fortunately, no COVID-19 related death was reported in the Himalayan state in the last 24 hours. 

Sikkim’s COVID-19 death tally currently stands at 409.
