The conference of the All Assam Kalita Janagosthi Student Union will be held at Meteka Pothar Gopal Mandir in Rangia under Kamrup (Rural) district on April 7 & 8, 2018.

The All Assam Kalita Janagosthi Student Union President Anupol Dutta  and the Steering Committee President Brojen Medhi informed that during the two-day conference of the Kalita Janagosthi Students’ Union,  representatives from 23 full-fledged district committees, four district committees and 85 regional committees will be present.

The programme of the conference on April 7 includes cleaning drive as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, flag hosting and cultural nite to be inaugurated by former Executive Member of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Rabindra Lal Biswas.

The programme on April 8 includes cultural procession, open meeting to be held under the chairmanship of Anupol Dutta Pathok, President of the All Assam Kalita Janagosthi Students Union.

The open meeting will be attended as a speaker by Kalita Janagosthi Sanmilan Secretary Dr Ramen Kakoti. BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary will attend as the Chief Guest.

The others who will also be present on the occasion are Rajya Sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita, Mangaldai Lok Sabha MP Ramen Deka, MLAs Bhabesh Kalita, Satyabrat Kalita, Ashok Sarmah, Sumon Horipriya and Pabindra Deka.

Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) Chairman Jayanata Malla Baruah, All Assam Kalita Janagosthi Sanmilan President Dr Ranjit Deka,  All Assam Kalita Sahitya Sabha Chief Adviser Biju Senapati and Working President Smrity Rekha Kalita, Anundoram Borooah Academy Rector Dr Ranjit Deka , social worker Sampurna Nanda Talukdar and many others will also be present at the conference.
