Manipur information minister T Biswajit has said that “adventure courses” will help in instilling courage and patience among youths.
Biswajit made this statement while attending a function at the Manipur Mountaineering Institute complex at Lamdan.
“Fear holds us back and we can achieve success only by overcoming fear,” Manipur minister T Biswajit said.
He said that “adventure courses” will help youths in developing their overall personalities.
Biswajit said that sports and adventure must be encouraged among youths because it keeps them at bay from drugs.

Taking part in the function, the minister assured government’s assistance to the Manipur Mountaineering Institute for development of infrastructure.
He further expressed the possibility of developing the Manipur Mountaineering Institute complex into an eco-tourism spot under the public-private partnership mode.
T Biswajit also paid floral tributes to mountaineer Tenzing Norgay at the campus of the Manipur Mountaineering Institute during the function.
“Had the honour to hoist the Manipur Mountaineering Institute‘s flag and paid floral tributes to the great Mountaineer Tenzing Norgay,” Manipur minister T Biswajit said.
