Indian Test cricket captain Virat Kohli, on Wednesday, clarified that there is no rift between him and Indiaโ€™s newly appointed ODI and T20 captain Rohit Sharma.ย 

โ€œThere is no problem between me and Rohit Sharma. I have been clarifying for the past two years and I am tired now,โ€ Virat Kohli said.ย 

Kohli was briefing the media before the Indian teamโ€™s departure to South Africa for three-match test series.ย 

He added: โ€œRohit is a very able captain. There is also Rahul bhai (Coach Rahul Dravid), who is a great man manager. They will get my 100 percent support in ODIs and T20Is.โ€ย

India is scheduled to play three Tests and three ODIs on the South Africa tour.ย ย 

Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the Test series due to a hamstring injury.ย 

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli further said that he had never asked BCCI for rest and that he will be available for selection for the ODI series.ย
