Sam Bombay, husband of actor Poonam Pandey, has been arrested by the Mumbai police on Tuesday.
Sam Bombay has been arrested by the Mumbai Police for allegedly physically assaulting his actor wife Poonam Pandey.
“The case has been registered against Sam Bombay under the sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC). The actress has suffered serious injuries on her head, eyes and face,” the Mumbai police said.
According to reports, Poonam Pandey has been admitted to the hospital with multiple injuries after lodging the complaint.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the case.
According to a Firstpost report, soon after their marraige, Poonam Pandey has accused her husband Sam Bombay of domestic violence and filed a case against him.
The couple was reportedly shooting for a film in Canacona village of South Goa during the time of the previous incident.
Sam Bombay was booked under sections 506 (criminal intimidation), 354 (outraging modesty), 353 (causing hurt), and 353 (insult) of the IPC.

Sam Bombay was taken into custody by the police and was later granted conditional bail the next day.
However, the couple had soon reconciled, with Pandey adding that “which marriage does not have its ups and downs.”
Poonam Pandey and Sam Bombay were in a live-in relationship for over two years before getting married in Mumbai on September 1 this year.
