Enrolled under OIL’s ‘Super 30’ Program, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of Oil India Limited, all the 169 students across six centers of the OIL Super 30 project have cracked the JEE Mains 2020- 21 out of which a total of 101 students have qualified in JEE Advance 2020- 21 for admission to the IITs and other prestigious institutes of our country.
The commendable success rate has been achieved across the six centers of OIL super 30 based in Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh, Nagaon, Itanagar and Jodhpur which are wholly supported by Oil India Limited India’s and is implemented by the Centre for Social Responsibility and Leadership (CSRL), said a statement.

This year also marks 10 years of the OIL Super 30 project empowering the brilliant minds of underprivileged sections of the society.
To mark the occasion and also to congratulate the 101 students who have qualified for the IITs this year, an interactive session with the students was held with Sushil Chandra Mishra, CMD, OIL, Shri Pankaj Kumar Goswami, Director (Operations), Prasanta Borkakoty, RCE and other senior officials of OIL.
During the interaction, S C Mishra congratulated the students for making it to premier institutes like IITs, NIITs, medical colleges, etc.

He also extolled the role of CSRL as a project implementing partner for toiling hard and inspiring the students to achieve excellence.
Oil India Super 30 project is one of the CSR initiatives of the company focusing on providing 11- months of completely free residential coaching in the field of Engineering & Medical to the meritorious students belonging to underprivileged sections of the society and helping them by providing opportunities to fulfil their dream of securing admissions in premier institutes of the country.
“In the engineering batch of 2019-20, a total of 170 students were enrolled out of which 164 students secured admissions in various engineering colleges making it a 96% success rate across six centres.
“64 students have exclusively secured admissions in IITs (A group engineering colleges), 90 students in NITs (B category engineering colleges) and rest 10 students in other state engineering colleges.
“Whereas, in the medical batch of 2019-20, a total of 30 students were enrolled out of which 29 students qualified in NEET. Thereafter in the first counselling of NEET, 21 students have secured admission in MBBS colleges & one student got admission in AIIMS Guwahati,” the statement said.
“Since the inception of the OIL super 30 program in 2010-11, Oil India Limited has supported total 1335 nos. of students in engineering entrance examinations & out of which 1060 students have successfully secured admissions into various engineering colleges (admissions for 169 nos. of students from the batch of 2020-21 is under process). Also till date, a total of 301 nos. of students have exclusively got admissions in various IITs,” it added.
