He said that the Congress party will take all measures to resolve all problems faced by the “valiant community”.
Gaurav Gogoi also visited the Viswashanti Nepali Vidya Mandir in the heart of Udalguri town.
He interacted with the Gorkha women devotees assembled at the temple on the occasion of Haritalika Teej puja.

Gogoi was in Udalguri for preparing ground for the Congress party ahead of the Assam Assembly bye-elections.
“Congress has a glorious history. It will bounce back with new vigour,” said Assam Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi.
