One more support staff of the Indian cricket team has tested positive for COVID-19.

Assistant physiotherapist of the Indian team Yogesh Parmar has reportedly tested positive for COVID-19.

This comes days after coaches Ravi Shastri, Bharat Arun and R Sridhar went into quarantine in London and missed the fourth Test at The Oval.

With one more support staff of the team having tested COVID positive, holding of the fifth Test match between India and England is now doubted.

The fifth and final Test match between India and England is slated to begin on Friday.

According to reports, the BCCI has spoken to the team in Manchester and is not keen to play the Test match beginning Friday.

Moreover, India’s training session on the eve of the Test has been cancelled.

India currently lead the five-match Test series 2-1 and need only a draw in Manchester to secure victory in the series.
