Tokyo Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain has reached her home state Assam on Thursday.
Lovlina Borgohain landed at the LGBI Airport in Guwahati at around 9:30am on Thursday.
Lovlina was received by Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at the Airport.
Apart from CM Sarma, Assam sports minister Bimal Bora and Guwahati police commissioner Harmeet Singh were also present at the airport.

Briefing the media after her arrival, Lovlina Borgohain said that she will be fully satisfied only after she wins a Gold at the Olympics.
“I am not satisfied yet. Had I won the Gold at Tokyo I would have been fully satisfied with my efforts. I will keep up my hard work so that I can win Gold at the next Olympics,” said Lovlina.
Meanwhile, Guwahati – the capital city of Assam – is all decked up to welcome Lovlina Borgohain.
Posters and hoardings have been put up across Guwahati city.

The Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has introduced a customised chartered bus, which will take Lovlina Borgohain to her home town in Golaghat district.
“YOU ARE THE PRIDE OF INDIA,” read a quote pasted on the exterior of the bus.
