Assam health minister Keshab Mahanta on Monday had a close shave when his helicopter developed a technical snag. No one was injured in the incident.
The incident took place in the morning when the helicopter with minister Mahanta and four officials on board was on the way to Tamulpur from Guwahati International Airport.
The helicopter was forced to return to the airport.
“Mahanta’s helicopter, which had left for Tamulpur in Baksa from Guwahati airport, had developed a technical snag mid-air and had had to make an emergency landing at the airport,” said an official.
Further details are awaited.
