Party time is not yet over for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Tripura.
Series of road shows and victory rallies are being organized every other day across various parts of the State where the saffron party routed the 25-year-old Left Front rule and stormed into the corridors of power for the first time with a decisive mandate.
A similar view was witnessed at 28 Teliamura Assembly constituency with BJP-IPFT supporters taking out a victory rally with winning MLA Kalyani Roy.
The BJP created history in Tripura on March 3 last after the Assembly elections results were declared in the State.
The BJP along with its pre-poll alliance partner, the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) bagged as many 35 and eight seats respectively.
The victory in Tripura also means the BJP will get to play a decisive role in the politics of the tumultuous northeastern region.
With coming to power, the BJP has began victory rallies at different places across the State.
At the victory rally held at 28 Teliamura Assembly constituency, a large number of party supporters as well members of both BJP and the IPFT from Hadraichara took to the streets amid loud cheers from one and all.
