Gauhati University on Tuesday said that the first and third semester examinations of the Three Year Degree (TDC) courses will be conducted in an online mode from the last week of July.
“It is hereby informed to all concerned that the TDC Semester-III (CBCS & Non-CBCS) and Semester-l (CBCS & Non- CBCS) Examination, 2020 will be held in online mode tentatively from last week of July and August(1st part) respectively,” the university said in a notification.
The examination schedule and the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the first and third semester examinations of the TDC courses will be released on the website shortly, it added.
Meanwhile, the university has asked the principals of its affiliated general degree colleges to conduct the practical exam of TDC 5th semester in an online mode according to their own convenience.
“This is to inform all the Principals of General Degree Colleges that they are authorized to conduct the Practical Examination of TDC 5th Semester Examination, 2020(to be held in 2021) as per their own convenience through virtual mode only,” the university said.
The marks obtained by the examinees in the TDC 5th Semester practical examination are to be uploaded to the website portal.in within July 20, 2021, it added.
“Marks of Arrear batches (2015 and 2016) can also be mailed to [email protected],” the university said.
Last month, Gauhati University had decided to hold the undergraduate and post-graduate exams in a virtual mode keeping in view the deteriorating situation of COVID-19 in Assam.
