In a much relieving news for all in Bajali district of Assam, a one-month-old baby has recovered from COVID-19.  

This has been reported from Sarumanikpur village in Bajali district of Assam.

Earlier a week back, five members of a family, including the baby, had tested positive for COVID-19. 

They were admitted to a COVID Care Centre at Salbari. 

A week later, they were discharged from the COVID Care Centre after their test results returned negative.

The parents of the baby – Dhrubajit Kalita and Nivarani Kalita – both of whom had also tested positive, have expressed relief after their child recovered from the deadly virus. 

They thanked the staff and doctors of the COVID Care Centre for the utmost care they took of their child. 

“We are very happy at the care and treatment of the doctors,” parents of the baby said.
