Group of award wining students

A group of students of a Mangaldai based secondary level private educational institution have earned laurels in a state level science model exhibition contest.

This group of five students from class IX standard of North East Academy comprising Miraj Nurani, Kaushik Das, Hillol Rahman, Vishal Kashyap and Rideep Kumar Kalita – have won the third prize in the state level science model exhibition contest organized recently by Assam Science, Technology and Education Council (ASTEC) at Assam Regional Science Centre at Khanapara in Guwahati.

These promising young scientists had innovated a mechanical device for tree climbing which would made tree climbing more comfortable and safe for the climbers.

Directors of the school, Rajashree Sarma Mishra and Pratima Bhattacharyya  have stated this before media on Friday.
