Arunachal Pradesh reported 3 more COVID-19 deaths and 374 new positive cases in the last 24 hours.  

The fresh fatalities include two women from Lower Dibang Valley and Tawang districts and one man from East Siang district.

Arunachal Pradesh’s death toll stands at 107.

According to the Arunachal Pradesh COVID-19 bulletin, the new 374 Covid19 cases were detected out of 6609 samples tested.  

Of the new cases, 180 are symptomatic and 194 are asymptomatic cases.

In the last 24 hours, a total of 190 COVID-19 patients were discharged after their recovery from the disease.  

So far, a total of 21765 patients have recovered from the disease.  

The recovery rate of the state stands at 85.77%. 

Arunachal Pradesh now has 3,504 active cases.

The Capital Complex region, comprising Itanagar, Naharlagun, Nirjuli and Banderdewa areas, has the highest number of active cases at 653, followed by Changlang (420) and Tawang (404). 

In view of the spurt in coronavirus cases, the state government has imposed a complete lockdown in nine districts till May 31.
