A 3.7 magnitude earthquake has hit Assam.
The earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale had its epicentre at Sonitpur in Assam.
The tremor was felt at 6:13pm on Monday.
No damage to property or loss of life has been reported in the earthquake so far.

Earlier on April 28, a massive earthquake measuring 6.7 in the Richter Scale had jolted Assam and other Northeast States.
Damages to property and cracks developing on buildings were reported from several locations across Assam due to the earthquake on April 28.
