Nagaland has reported 207 new Covid19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The news has been confirmed by Nagaland health minister S Pangnyu Phom in a tweet on Tuesday evening.
Informing about the new positive cases, Nagaland health minister Phom said of the new cases, Dimapur reported 177 cases, Kohima – 13, Tuensang – 9, Longleng and Mokokchung – 3 cases each while Mon and Peren districts reported 1 case each.
Phom said a total of 16 patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered from the disease.
The recoveries were reported from Kohima, Dimapur and Wokha districts.
While 8 patients recovered in Kohima, 7 patients recovered in Dimapur while 1 patient recovered in Wokha.
With the new cases, the total Covid19 positive tally increased to 13,445 on Tuesday.
So far, a total of 12,151 patients have recovered from the disease.
Nagaland currently has 874 active Covid19 cases.

On Tuesday, the Nagaland government restricted entry of visitors to the Nagaland Civil Secretariat complex with immediate effect until further notice in view of the recent surge in Covid19 cases in the state.
In a notification, the home department said all the employees must produce valid identity card to the checking staff while entering the secretariat.
The home department advised all the employees of the establishment not to entertain outsiders/visitors and to follow precautionary measures of wearing mask, regular washing of hands and maintaining social/physical distancing to ensure general safety at all times.
