Unprecedented and total chaos had gripped Delhi as “only few hours of oxygen left” in the national capital.
People are being seen moving in desperation, knocking door after door, to get oxygen for their COVID-19 positive relatives.
Amid surge in COVID-19 cases and massive shortage of oxygen supply, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made yet another panicky appeal to the Centre for supply of oxygen to the National Capital.
Arvind Kejriwal said that Delhi is witnessing a “serious oxygen crisis”.
He informed the Centre that “just a few hours of oxygen” are left in several hospitals in Delhi.
“Serious oxygen crisis persists in Delhi. I again urge centre to urgently provide oxygen to Delhi. Some hospitals are left with just a few hours of oxygen,” Delhi Chief Minister said.

Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia informed that the Government has started receiving SOS calls from the hospitals in regards to oxygen shortage.
“SOS phones are coming from all hospitals regarding oxygen. People supplying Oxygen are being stopped in different states. There should be no jungle raj on the supply of oxygen between the State. The central government will have to be very sensitive and active,” Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said.
New Delhi, which has a population of more than 20 million people, is witnessing a never-seen before crisis.
“The situation in Delhi is very grim,” Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal had informed PM Modi.
