Itanagar Capital Region deputy commissioner Komkar Dulom in the presence of Capital superintendent of police Jimmy Chiram handed over uniform sets including shoes and raincoats to the traffic wardens in a small function at Itanagar.

Appreciating the efforts put in by the traffic wardens while discharging their duties, the Itanagar Capital Region deputy commissioner Komkar Dulom urged them to continue their work with the same zeal and motivation.

“We get true satisfaction in our professions only when we work with the aim of providing service to others without any expectations and returns,” Komkar Dulom said.

He also informed that the district administration has tried to provide the best quality uniforms to the traffic wardens to help them serve to the best of their capability.

The deputy commissioner also assured to look into the various grievances raised by the traffic wardens.

Itanagar Capital Region superintendent of police Chiram briefed the traffic wardens on the importance of road discipline and their role in facilitating the same.

He also urged them to perform their duty with utmost sincerity.

The SP asked the traffic wardens to maintain personal hygiene and highlighted how it is important for them to keep their body fit.

SDPO Kamdam Sikom informed that police posts have been raised at various points to monitor traffic and urged the traffic in-charges to monitor the same from time to time.

Earlier, the traffic officer-in-charge K B Chhetri thanked the district administration for constantly providing motivation to the traffic wardens to give their best in the line of their duty.

Deputy commissioner Dulom later on the day visited the fire station here and interacted with the officials.
