In the wake of the rising cases of Covid-19 in the country, the Manipur government has taken up various measures to combat the spread of the virus which includes conducting online classes for standard V and below.
The director of the Manipur schools education department said that the date of commencement of regular classes for these students would be notified after observing the pandemic situation.
On the other hand, a notification issued by the state health directorate on Saturday stated that all air passengers coming from Maharashtra, Kerela, Chhattisgarh, MP, Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Tamil Nadu will have to undergo an RT-PCR on their arrival at the Imphal airport.
