Nagaland’s 16-year-old leg-spinner Khrievitso Kense on Wednesday underwent trials for Rajasthan Royals at the Royal Academy in Nagpur.
Ahead of the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the cricketer from Nagaland, was invited by IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals for bowling trials.
Kense drew attention of IPL giants after a series of remarkable performances during his domestic debut at the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament held in Chennai.
The cricketer was first invited by Mumbai Indians for trials.
According to a media report, Kense took 7 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 5.47 in 4 matches at Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament held recently.
The cricketer, as per the report, underwent a 5-day trial for Mumbai Indians.
The trial was held from January 20-24 at the Mumbai Reliance Cricket Ground.
However, Mumbai Indians is yet to announce the results.
