The Indian Army on Friday celebrated ‘Army Day’ by conducting a fair titled ‘Know Your Army’ at a government higher secondary school in Daporijo in Arunachal Pradesh.
The fair aimed to spread awareness about the armed forces among civilians and motivate youths to them.

A wide array of state-of-the-art military weapons and equipment demonstrating the technological advancement and military might of the armed forces were displayed on the occasion.
Gajraj Corps of Indian Army also celebrated ‘Army Day’ at Tezpur in Assam’s Sonitpur district by organizing a ceremony at the Tezpur War Memorial.
The army personnel paid rich tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for their country while being deployed along the line of control in Arunachal Pradesh and during counter-insurgency operations in Assam.
The Red Horns Division of the Indian Army also organized a multi-facility medical camp at Chamthebari village in Baksa district of Assam.
A joint team of doctors and dentists from the army and civil hospitals screened patients and distributed medicines, face masks and sanitizers among 1550 residents of the remote village.
